What a stunning start to the month! ☀️

Kicking May off with Beltane! The celebrating the beginning of summer at the cross-quarter day (Gaelic/Pagan) as well as May Day & International Worker’s Day.

The 4th (this Sunday) is International Dawn Chorus Day 🐦‍⬛🐦🐤🎶

5th is early May bank holiday in the UK & Ireland.

17th is the Eurovision Song Contest final. The 25th Rogation Sunday (Christian/Traditional).

Spring bank holiday in the UK on the 26th.

My brother is coming to see us on the 28th and the Kingsbridge food & music festival starts on the 30th! Looking forward to seeing band play live and taste all the food!

In the garden I’m really hoping to get the orchard/food forest finally done. Feels like we’ve been at it forever but we are making progress! I’ve also planned out what is going where in the greenhouse and I need to get cracking with weeding the sleeper steps so that it’s ready for planting up with some of the million dahlias I seem to have 🤔🤭
