Tasting notes and description

Fruits are olive-shaped and are green with dark green stripes, resembling miniature watermelons in looks. Taste wise they taste like cucumber with a subtle hint of sourness, tasting like lime. The skin can be a little tough if watered infrequently. They have a crunchy bite and soft seeds you can eat.

Uses

You can eat them raw, straight of the vine as a little garden snack, cut them in half and stick them in your G&T or you can pickle them - which is something I'm doing for the first time this year! If all goes well, recipe will follow soon. Also sometimes called Mexican miniature watermelon, Mexican sour gherkin or mouse melon
