Tasting notes and description

It does not taste of peppermint, it got this name for its resemblance to peppermint candy canes. Bright pink streaked from the base up going into white stems with bright green leaves. Can be a little bitter/earthy like beetroot, but taste great in its many uses.

Uses

Use the leaves like you would spinach (they're family after all), stems can be cooked as separate veg or shredded to go in curries, soups etc.
